I just got my G73JH yesterday. Really pleased so far for the most part. One really strange issue
I'm having is youtube videos seem to load really slow compared to the computer it replaced. (Acer Aspire 6530)
Internet connection is general seems a lot faster than the Aspire, so I don't get the issue with youtube.
I'm using Firefox. Is there a tweak in Firefox settings that might help?

Yikes, I think I may have jumped the gun with this question. Sorry. Maybe this reply can help somebody.

Right-click on the video and select settings. Then click on the folder icon. Under Local Storage it asks
how much information can be stored on your computer, move the slider to unlimited. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

    Why would Firefox be slower?

I've heard there are bugs / viruses involved with speedbit? Is this not true?

I've honestly seen no difference at all between Chrome and Firefox except Chrome isn't as customizable as I'd want in certain areas.

    Eww @ Chrome and EI.

I tried Chrome and although they offer AdBlockPlus for it, NoScript is nowhere to be found and I refuse to browse without those two, so Firefox is the superior browser until NoScript gets added to Chrome imo.

No issues here super fast as always using FF, sure youtube was not just having a bad day?

Sometimes it loads 1080p content fast enough for me to watch it as I go, other times I have to pause and wait for a while. Thats a youtube thing.

If you mean the speed in witch the page itself loads, that is always instant for me though again when youtube is under heavy load I have seen it slow down some.
