Been following some of the comments on this forum and can't seem to find solid answers to some questions

    1) What's the performance difference between these two models?
    2) What about temperatures/Noise?
    3) I was considering buying from Xotic PC and getting a 1TB Drive and having a repaste done at manufacturer, whats the general consensus, is the stock paste good enough or do people see some good results with paste?
    4) Is the build quiality identical between these models?

    Thanks for the help.

I think he means the 1080 Max-Q vs 1070 Max-Q (both in the Zephurus)

    1) About 25%
    2) Between the 2 models? Don't know, very fey have reported 1070 MQ benchmarks and tests. Assume the 1070 MQ will be cooler and quieter
    3) Stock paste is always garbage. Have Xotic repaste if it doesn't void warranty
    4) Yes

Apparently the G501VS uses a fan profile similar to the G501VI, giving as a result similar noise emissions but reduced heat.
It seems to be the same chassis so probably same build quality.

    Hope this helps! :)
