    Hi guys -- might be a silly question, but is there any way to add an manually add an eSATA port to a g74 or g75?

    Google thunderbolt to esata and you will find a couple product that will do what you want.

    I would have much preferred an eSATA port over the G75's thunderbolt port... I only have G74.. waiting for G76 I guess. :)

    That would be with haswell towards the middle of next year most likely.

    Thunderbolt could have some interesting uses with the right driver development on windows and adaption rates.
