I picked up a G73 for a good deal, to be used for video editing.
now the problem is ..no fire wire, usb 3 or any slots. My question is there a way to add one of these or another way so I can load my video???

Such a thing does not exist. There are firewire to USB cables but they are only for dumping DV cameras that use certain protocols.
