I have been out of this forum for some time. I take it the track pad has not been fixed by asus?

I was thinking about the apple magic track pad, any one use it? If so how does it work?

Kind of. Not really. Sort of. With a combination of hardware and software mods you may get a semi-functioning pad. If you check the last page of that thread you'll see my fix, and I've done it all. That combination of BIOS + vBIOS seems to work. It has nothing to do with this ATK Driver mythology that Asus is spewing at us.

It is fixed for some and not for others. 213 was a release which either fixed it or it didnt. Along with removing the sticky tape poorly positioned around the touchpad during disassembly and testing different versions of Synaptics you can get it to work perfectly.

The ATK update was primarily for the keyboard lag, just a FYI :) The trackpad primary fix is the tape and glue removal.
