    Anyone can tell, is it possible to disable/turn off the back light of asus logo?(The one which is in other side of screen not keyboards backlight)

    iirc, isn't it driven off of the LCD panel's backlight? I may be wrong, though, as I don't have an ASUS ROG laptop.

    press the button on the far left of the top of the keyboard which looks lke a lightbulb with a line through it.

    will turn off the blue strip for you. if your machine has one of those that is (G73 here)

    i think it might be a G72, and my friend has one and i dont think they have the Light buttons

    yeah i don't think the older ones have a turn off lights button

    unless u wanna take it apart and disconnect the lights lol, but i wouldn't recommend it

    G51 and G60 models do not have a way to turn off the logo light.

    mybe I can bring it to place I bought, ask for service to remove the power cabel for these backlights? I dont need them....

    As said above, likely the backlight from your display, the lights that light up your LCD. So if you want to turn that off, you won't have a working LCD.

    Not exactly, it's EL wire that lights it up. There is a 'gaming' board on the left side of the bottom area under the LCD bezel. Disconnect it and the only light left is leakage from the backlight that is very faint, nothing close to what it was. I wrote a guide for this, it's on my website (I can't link to it directly due to forum rules).

    I'm pretty sure that there is a way to disable it in the bios. My old G51VX had it.

    I'm not sure about the G51VX, but on the G50 (actually since the very first G1) you could set it in DirectConsole.

    On the G51J and onward I know there is no setting for it anywhere.
