Anyone can tell, is it possible to disable/turn off the back light of asus logo?(The one which is in other side of screen not keyboards backlight)
-
iirc, isn't it driven off of the LCD panel's backlight? I may be wrong, though, as I don't have an ASUS ROG laptop.

press the button on the far left of the top of the keyboard which looks lke a lightbulb with a line through it.
will turn off the blue strip for you. if your machine has one of those that is (G73 here)

i think it might be a G72, and my friend has one and i dont think they have the Light buttons
-

unless u wanna take it apart and disconnect the lights lol, but i wouldn't recommend it -
G51 and G60 models do not have a way to turn off the logo light.

I'm pretty sure that there is a way to disable it in the bios. My old G51VX had it.

I'm not sure about the G51VX, but on the G50 (actually since the very first G1) you could set it in DirectConsole.
On the G51J and onward I know there is no setting for it anywhere.
