The processor wont run at full speed, I have all drivers, and there is no option in bios to turn off or change multiplier, my multiplier is sitting at x6 and processor speed is 998.6 mhz and voltage is at 0.950v

    Bios doesnt have an option
Tried windows power management changing the miniumum processor state to 100%

It doesnt go up under load, when playing games or prime 95, I dont get it!

Someone please help, im new to asus laptops and have never had this happened to me!

im running windows 7 64 bnit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

bumpp this laptop is making me mad.

Not for the G1SN no. I looked around the bios a numerous times, no option to enable or disable anything related to the CPU. This really blows, im surprised by how many people lack these laptops on here, am I the last person who has one?

Did you install the intel platform drivers from intel download center? Or did you use the ones from your driver CD (or none at all)?

    Intel Platform Driver?

If im correct, the chipset? I installed everything off the Drivers Disc from ASUS. How would I obtain one off intel's webside?

Yes, any other suggestions on cpu speed reading programs? As in Live Speed..

EDIT : Installed the package btw, gonna restart? See if theres a difference.

Nothing, still the same. This is so irratating. Getting so much game-lagg.

help, does someone who have this laptop have the same issue?
