    hi guys, just brought a asus g53! saw it on sale for 650cad and couldnt resist lol

    i just finish doing a clean install and put my ssd into this beast (i cannnot believe how difficult they made it to install memory or hard drives).

    anyway i have a question that is kinda un-related. i want to upgrade the memory,and my laptop comes with a single stick of 4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram. since my cpu is a 15-2410m, my question is what is the max speed of ram i can use? will it be worth it to get a 1600mhz?

    if not, does it matter what brand of memory i buy? will it still do its dual memory thing with no problem at all?

    lol thanks. can i mix ram with no problems? the one it came with is a hyundai with 9-9-9-24 timing (lol cheap ). what will happen if i match it with a cosair with much lower latency?
