okay..thanks...i do have back lighted keyboard,,,,its was my light that was making it not visible......

i bought a g60j yesterday, only to find out there is no onboard sound...due to the headphone jack i believe....i paid $500, and i am very angry....quess i will have to sell it on craigslist...this guy did not tell me sound did not work, and when it boots , its got the post sound....which i heard when i bought it....what should i ask for it, and should i tell the next buyer its got no sound???it does have sound through the headphone jack, and external speakers hookup......i should have paid $1010 for a new msi gaming notebook

I merged your new thread into your last post, no need to spam the forum.

Did you pay with a credit card? Is the guy unwilling to take a return? See if you can do a chargeback.

You can replace the audio board for $30-40.

Also you can try a linux livecd or liveusb (unetbootin utility creates an ubuntu liveusb very easily) to test the audio, rule out a software problem.
