I had this laptop for about a year and it worked fine intill a couple months ago. it was shutting off when ever i was in games and running very slow so i opened it up and blew all the nasty dust out. that fixed the shutting down problem but games are still not acting optimal.

for example. mass effect 1 i have to play on med settings and i only get about 30-40fps. serious sam HD is almost unplayable enelss everything is set to LOW settings.SS3 is unplayable. and a bunch of other games (2007-2009) run at low FPS when i should be able to play on max settings

Why is it running so slow in my games? anybody have any suggestions.

i updated nvidia drivers and chipset drivers.
