first of all asus lamborghini vx 7 when will it be released?

second thing the price how much will it coast?

and now this thing i didnt understand it about the specs read and help me

Powered by a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor (Yep, that’s the new Sandy Bridge architecture), a staggering 16GB of RAM, and NVIDIA GTX 460M graphics with an unprecedented 3GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory, the VX7 is the fastest notebook ASUS has ever made.

the nvidia gtx 460m got 1.5gb what did the mean by and NVIDIA GTX 460M graphics with an unprecedented 3GB

3gb? huh did they mean dual? but the didnt mention it? so whats the differences between gtx 460m 1.5gb and the one in asus vx 7?

    That notebook is rediculous...

All of that power and they still insist on bottlenecking it by not having SSDs or at least a Raid 0 option.

    It's a shame really!!

Correction - they bottleneck it by sticking with a 460M. They should have gone with a 485m or 6970M..
They gain nothing by slapping an extra 1.5GB on the video card; its not like it can play at resolutions that would fill all 3GB anyway..

They aren't going to do another dual-gpu setup after the W90, at least that's what multiple sources have said.

i can't really imagine how anyone's going to use that 16G of ram and 3G of GPU ram. even with virtualization, I can barely hit 50% of my 8G ram.

the extra cost could probably get you a GTX 485m, or might as well go with any of the sager/clevo highend notebooks.
