    bought Asus G73JH-X2

    Hey guys,

    Just purchased the G73JH-X2 from MicroCenter. The computer did not come with recovery DVDs but it did come with the driver and utility disc. What I want to know is, can I do a clean install with my own copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and use the driver and utility disc to install only select utilities? (turbo boost, etc.) - will I run into any problems? Please advise. Thanks!! By the way, the laptop looks awesome.

    Thanks DCx for the quick response. When I format the hard drive through the Windows 7 Ultimate install, will it still keep the hidden recovery partition, just in case I need to go back to factory?

    Yes. You choose which partition you want to install Windows on.
