no man , fresh install only depeds on os , not vbios or bios .
bios/vbios flash is done only one time ,
to make your laptop run smoother reinstall win os , if you delete all drives and make it into one big partitioned space and partition it to small drives gives more stability and life for your hdd's (its like calibrating) .

thanks. can you sort of guide me through that. so while re installation of the os, there is an option that comes asking if i want to partition drives. do i say yes or no. and when you say make it one big partition then add small ones later, can you explain that too. thanks :)

I guess you dont have any important files on your pc , if you dont ,
then insert the win 7 dvd , boot it , and in installing screen enter you produce key which is found on the back side of your laptop if it asks, and then click next ,select clean installation , then you will be in screen where you can repartition , in that screen , delete all drives , and create one by one ,
the first drive will be C: , then D: , then E , then F and it continues , you have to decide how much space you need for each drive , but the C: drive should be for OS , all other for storage and all kind of stuff , you can even store on C: but its better to keep it clean , because overloading to that drive can make your laptop run slower.
after created partition click on the c: drive and press next , then the installing starts.
    thats it.
