    clean install help with win 7 freeze

    I have an G73JH-BST7 and it would freeze randomly. Surprisingly it never occurs during gameplay. I then have to hit the power button to restart the whole laptop to get it going again.

    For those who did a clean windows 7 install did it help with the freeze problem? Did it fix it all together or just decrease the occurrence? I tried the hot-fix but that didn't help. Not sure if it did anything. Help.
