    clear text type looks like poo poo after WHQL Drivers 11.4

    am I the only one? I use firefox 4.0.1 , I tried to configure the clear text type ever wich way and it still looks blurry, Like I need glasses.

    Have you tried running the ClearType wizard?

    Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in FFox 4?

    No you're not the only one. I remember seeing some stuff about this but since I don't run windows I have no ideas for you. But if you do a web search for "blurry text firefox 4" you should find some solutions.

    Look in CCC, and check on whether Morphological Anti-Aliasing is enabled.

    wow I always get answers here. You guys are great! It had to do with hardware acc. Its still has to do with FF and not the ATI drivers. I dont use IE but I might have to start. The text still looks better on IE to me.

    Before has soft edges. After is crisper. Difference is very noticeable to me.

    you need to come very close to see the difference

    Firefox has had this blurry text issue for a while in certain situations. I switched to Google Chrome and won't be switching back.
