confused on how to improve performance

Hello,

I have the G73JH asus laptop and when I saw my laptop's performance playing dragon age 2 I was a bit disappointed.. googled and found out that new drivers are available, downloaded the latest 11.2 driver, but it didn't work after installation. from the various topics I read here.. I became even more confused not sure what VBIOS,GSOD even are and if those 2 are related to my problem.

I tried to figure it out alone but felt afraid of making things even worse so I thought I'd start a topic to ask you pros what are the simple steps of making my laptop perform better. please forgive my noobiness but I'd really appreciate it if someone would list down an easy to do list without complex abbreviations

Hi! just the same as you bro. I figured a week lurking in NBR will give me the knowledge i need to do everything on my own.

didn't happen. lol

because of tweaking my g73jh to up it's performance through flashing the BIOS and VBIOS, i bricked my laptop. but it's still repairable.
