    Hi Guys,

    I'm new to here.

Can someone post their vid settings for CS:GO that does not reach greater than 85c?
    so i can adjust mine..

I'm having a 90-92c temp reading on MSI afterburner during in-game (last night).

*btw gsync is enabled in nvidia control panel, but vsync is disabled in cs:go settings, will this affect?

I get similar CPU temps on my GL502VT (about 90-92*C max) and before that I got similar thermals on a Y50 (85-90*C max) and I've tried various settings.

Long story short, as long as you are playing at an uncapped frame rate, that is unavoidable.

I would turn on VSync, as mentioned. Making more frames than your screen can actually show just makes your system work harder than necessary and raises temps.

You won't really fix that, since the notebook naturally runs hotter. The game doesn't drain any performance from the GPU but CPU instead. It's a very CPU heavy game. So the only way to fix your temperatures is LM.
