Help me please. 204 BIOS. Had a few bsod's. Removed Microsoft flight sim x and audible program. Seems to be gone? Now, when I boot after Asus logo, I get a script of atheros blah blah Ethernet something. Then Dhcp........ I press escape. It reads exiting network boot. How do I fix this? Thanks for any help. Also, I tried posting a screen shot from my Droid but I get an error message.

    Hi Zx,
Can you get into Windows at all?
Also that script, its trying to Boot an OS over your network, this is done through boot priority in your Bios, or possibly its not finding your current OS and attempting to boot from other devices.

Yes. Windows will run just fine. Opens after I push escape, then it reads exiting network booting. Sometimes it will que for OS selection. I only have the one. So I select and every thing seems fine after.

It seems that you have PXE Boot enabled in BIOS. Have you been messing around in there? Network cards are capable of finding and booting their operating system from the network. I have never personally set up a network to operate this way for a business but almost all cards support it. They use a protocol called BOOTP to find the boot server on the network and boot per it's instructions.

I haven't dug around and found this option in our BIOS but I bet it is there. Furthermore, I bet that you have it turned on. It will either be in boot options or it will be in network card options in BIOS.

To enter bios, spam the delete button right at startup during the ASUS splash screen until you hit the main screen, then using your arrows select Boot, and then disable PXE, and then in your boot priority you can disable your network boot device (Mine was called Atheros boot something i think)

    Hope this helped.

Ok! Disabled pxe rom. But it will enable its self I guess if you don't disable network boot option. So I did and machine booted with without dhcp script. Any ideas why this problem occurred? Its not something I would mess with.
