    do VA panels exist for laptop yet?

    i like the idea of the VA panels due to better darks. high latency though. then heard there lower contract VAs that had decent darks ...better than TV or IPS @ 3000:1 and not so high latency. i wonder if 1080p VAs exist on laptop yet?

    I believe years ago, Fujitsu was using some VA panels on a couple of their notebooks, but haven't seen any since.

    There are some iterations on it about I believe in the 17.3" form factor from either samsung or lg I forget which. It's all pretty hybrid tech though.

    so hybrid it's watered down or not good for gaming? has any tried to source any thing for the G73 line?

    All of them are using eDP connectors so they can't be backdated to older models.
