    dx11 card?

    I bought the asus g73jh from best buy recently. and on the site and from the reviews, it says my gfx card is dx11 caable. I have the ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5870 in it and just curious because when I goto a game or srtest.com it says I have dx10?

    I couldnt find anything on SRTest.com that said they supported DX11 in the test. Yes your card is DX11 capable. GPU-Z would be a good way of checking for library support and then an actual dx11 game or benchmark of actual graphics support. If your still having an issue did you update your gpu driver yet? there is an update from ati.

    What DX11 games are you playing?

    actually i think I got it, tried on metro 2033 and was able to turn on dx11 and you mentioned a new gpu driver from ati? what is the newest? and how do I find out what version im at?

    GPU-Z should say what driver along with maybe an info panel in ati catalyst.

    Latest Drivers if on Windows 7 or Vista 64 bit- ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver

    If your on a different os fill this out and itll give u the driver 10.2 is the latest - AMD Support Search
