few problems with G74JH after vbios flashing

I had GSOD did all required updates (vbios etc) and i have some problems:

1) Cant run FURMARK - completly - it just dont start without any error message - does anyone had similar problem? ( i didnt try if it was running before flashing)
2) when i had the newest catalyst 10.10 i still had sometling like GSOD/VSOD, but a little different- there was not vertical streeps like before vbios uptating, but therere was grey scren, and computer was not completly dead- all processes was working ( i belive) and when i hibernate and unhibernate it all vas good like before. Does anyone had similar problem ? why it exists with catalyst 10.10?

3) experienced 2-3 unexpected resttart of my windows7 64bit - before flashing - is it th same reson like GSOD ?
4)experienced 2-3 freezes - after one of them i get information that update of my trend micro antivirus had make my system unstable - is there any connections between system freezes and trend micro antivirus ?

5) Please Give me some good words about my g74JH because after al this GSOD and other problems i am really deppressed and thinking that i spent a lot of money for CRAP :-(

Uninstall the Trend Antivirus. Had nothing but problems with it.

 

Were there ANY vertical stripes with the newest catalyst?

And yeah. Trend AV has caused tonnes of problems here. Just use MS security essentials, if you don't have a nod32 subscription.

Before flashing i had TIPICAL vertical stripes and SYSTEM totaly crushed. After flashing with catalyst 10.10. After magical 10 minuts i had something different. there was really grey screen (no stripes) but was sound, and system was working. When i hibernate and unhibernate it. all was ok. I came back to 10.8. and so far everything is OK. i've tested it on CRYSIS and was working properly (max tempereture was abour 92 degC - is it ok ?). The problem is that i don't really know if problem with GSOD is solved because when i was playing on my laptop befor flashing, there was long moments when it was working properly. so mabe it is just one of those moments.

Still i cant run furmark for reason i don't understand.
Yes yesterday i've installed my nortin 360 and so far works good.
Thanks for advice about uninstalling TM.

Mine was sorta doing the same thing. I did a factory restore and will be testing this morning. I would get either a gray screen, black screen, orange screen, or an orange sherbert screen with vertical stripes.

I'm back on the original setup with Chastity's VBIOS with OD. IF that doesn't work then I'll try to flash back to stock VBIOS, and if that doesn't work ASUS will be getting a call from me sometime today.

 

G74JH, I wonder what specs it has, mind telling me?

 

Specs ? you meat what hardware ? Typical : procesor i7 , 8 Gig RAM , ATI RADEON 5870 (if i remember correctly) , Blue ray,etc
if you asking about soft:
W7 64, Bios 2.11 , Catalyst 10.8 (had to downgrade from 10.10), vbios updated with holly ;-) patch
