Do you mean you GPU usage was at 99%? Although one core of the CPU will be as well while its running. Your CPU does seem to be running hot if it is running at 93oC although its within operating conditions.

If you meant your GPU was reaching 93oC this is also within operating conditions as extreme burn mode does exactly what it says on the tin push the card to its limits.

oh no , i was mistaken i meant the gpu not te cpu , the GPU was on 99% cuz of furmark XDD

yeh there is an option in furmark that it says ''extreme burn-in'' XD so i used it on 1080p with 2x antialiasing ...

but if i paly other games like mafia 2 black ops the gpu will be from 82c to 85c ..

Your GPU idle and max temps are just fine, nothing to worry about :)

Don't know about G53, but GTX460m at 52c idle seems a little bit high. The same gpu in my G73SW idle at 35c, full load with furmark about 70-74c. Of course G73 has better cooling than G53 because of bigger chasis and my computer is brand new. If you already have your G53 for some while, it probably needs some cleaning, blow some air to the vent or open it to clean and repaste if you know how. But if it's not hurting your game performance, then you can leave it as is until something happens.

i dont know how to repaste , and it has been 2 months since i bought it ...

but i want to know if the is any people in here with the same laptop , so they can test it with furmark and see the tempratures , cuz if it is the same that means it is fine , but if it is only me , then there is a problem ..

Furmark is going to make your gpu hotter than any game could. Don't worry about it if your temps are fine when gaming.

Idling temps are dependent on your ambient temperature or room temperature so if you live somewhere that its pretty humid or you have heating on this can throw your idle temp right up.

Although the GTX should run cooler we all know what Asus's attempts at pasting are like so it could just be a poor job on the chipset but as mentioned your temps are nothing to worry about at this point.

i live in la, california , and the weather is perfect in here , i dont think it is because of the weather ....

anyways , maybe because other laptops are 17.3'' and mine is 15.6'' ?

Install GPU Observer gadget, and enable viewing clocks. Are the clocks dropping down to 51/150?

I live in india and its pretty hot in here.. My gpu idles at 49-52 degrees and under full load it slowly creeps up to 80-85 degrees and then the fans kick in.. It has never reached even 86C.. so its perfectly normal! Happy gaming!

hmm , one question , by saying idleing , that means doing nothing at all ?

or surfing the web and listening to music and stuff like that ?

cuz what i understood from idleing is SURFING THE WEB AND LISTENING TO MUSIC, and the tempratures are 52~53 , but if idle like doing nothing at all , i havent tried that before, cuz i never leave my laptop idle , or else it will sleep .... so ?

Idling means not using the GPU. No youtube, and stuff.
