Out of curiosity, why are you changing them? Did your screen go out?

when i sent my laptop in for RMA the oled screen got cracked , the g50v screen ends up being the same screen (Also called an RTI Display).. when i took apart the laptop my oled screen read G50v on the part, the part bolted right in and works great.

when i took apart the laptop i had discovered that a small piece of debris had gotten in and is most likely what had caused the screen to crack in shipping.

it was a great opportunity to take the laptop apart though, real easy to disassemble and reassemble. i did notice that i had more than 1 screw missing on the laptop, either from the refurbish or the RMA technician. i replaced them and the laptop feels tight. Right now though the laptop is feeling like its new again.

the only thing i noticed when taking the laptop apart is that the top screw on the hinge of the screen is missing the anchor so no bolt can be put in. I am going to have to investigate if i can move an anchor to that spot, i'd much rather have the bolt in the screen hinge than the empty bolts in the second hard drive bay.

Aha! Mine went out too and it's good to know it's easy to fix. Now to find the OLED display/top chassis cover...
