hi, i´m looking for a way to disable the oled completly (or changing the text) whout having a program running in the back all the time.

I guess the only solution is to disconnect the cable? Which one and where is it?

    thanks

check out the g50v disassembly guide 2-13.. you should be able to get to the cable by just removing the keyboard.

Are you trying to get rid of it altogether? Because I need a new OLED screen and I would totally pay you for it if it's in working condition.

Ah ok. Just thought I'd ask. :)

Best of luck getting it unplugged! You have to remove the top case, which is a lot of screws.
