    Been away from this forum for a while. I have a G50vt-x5, and I haven't used it for quite some time. Not since I built an i7 desktop. Just wondering if they ever released a bios update to support quads on these. If not, I'm probably gonna end up selling it.

    I haven't heard of a quad working in any G50... :(

    Unfortunately G50 doesn't support quads, the highest CPU you can cram into the case is x9100.
