    a friend of mine got a G51vx bb one
    and he was thinking about cpu upgrade so the question is can he put a q9000 cpu or a x9100?

    x9100 will work.

    q9000 probably not.

    x9100 hmmm that will be a nice upgrade for a 200$ cuz my friend is not willing to change the laptop for another year then he will buy another one so i think the power he will gain is still good enough from the cpu.
    but for now turbo mode isnt working with his G51vx when he press the rog button its just flshing without any effects I already modded his vbios and get the cpu up to the orginal GTX 260m clocks and UV in the same time sucessfully and now max temp is 82c with furmark and 88 with orthos stressing cpu in the same time and tested stability for 2 hours with now probs.
    the only thing is the turbo mode isnt working for now.

    you can increase the cpu multiplier on there to 3.2ghz or more :)
