i just recieved my laptop g60jx with the core i5

and installed black ops and it played it verywell , without any lag/stutter or fps drops

before that i installed hw monitor and after i played like 15 min , i exited the game and saw the cpu max temprature at 74c and gpu at 80 , is that okay ?

and if not what should i do to this laptop , should i return it , or clean it ?

    i playing with a flat surface .

I would say for that series of laptop up to the high 80's low 90C under load is going to be an acceptable level. At least it is under what the manufacture would consider a "safe level". As long as you aren't peaking in the 100's I wouldnt worry too much.

Yeah I wouldnt be worried about it to be honest. If your GPU starts downclocking and you notice fps problems then you could be in trouble. But if you clean your vent and fan out every so often with a can of compressed air and watch the temps what you have experienced is not anything to be worried about.

By the way if you play with a second monitor download the gadget GPU observer. You can set it to monitor GPU temp, fan speed, load, ram usage. It is a very useful app.
