    All,

My lappy search continues, now that the sandy bridge models are off the market for a while I'm back to looking at the asus g73 or g53 that I had originally abandoned after trying out the keyboard.

Ive played with three g73 models in person, two best buy editions and one microcenter SB model. One of the best buy models and the SB model both had dropped key problems... They drop at least 10 characters per hundred and the trackpad seems to pick up movement nowhere near it so the mouse cursor flaps around alot.

I've read the threads with disabling the trackpad in bios being the most successful although not perfect solution.

Since this is still having on the new SB models I'm guessing its a possible problem with all the g73 models... but im curious, does anyone know if the g53 has the same problem?

    Thanks
