    g73 keyboard dropped chars... fixed by 205 bios update?

    The folks at xoticpc tell me that the most recent bios release 205 for the g73 series fixes the problem with dropping characters while typing.

    Can anyone confirm this? Or want to try it out to see if it fixes their problem?

    which g73? The JH JW or SW?

    But yeah, the bios update does fix it.

    He was talking about the SW (which ive duplicated the problem on in the best buy model here locally). But the 205 bios update came out around the 20th of feb for the SW, JW and JH models.

    Is that the bios update you are talking about or an earlier one? I know that an earlier bios update fixed it for 'some' people but not others.

    Isn't BIOS 213 the latest, or is that only for jh?

    That may be the jh. Looking at asus site for the jw and sw its 205 released 2/23/11 or therebouts. The jh is older so maybe its had more updates, honestly i only looked at the sw and jw models.
