Is it normal for the battery to charge slower if you let it go under 20%? Says "plugged in, charging" but it won't move from 15%

no, let it drain, then remove it, sit for a few minutes, then reconnect and let charge to full

SirIssac, No way the battery S/B getting warm. I just checked mine after recharging. You are right the power brick does get slightly warm. Did Chastity's suggestion fix the problem?

It is normal for the battery to be warm when it's being charged. It's not normal for it to be very warm or hot though. The AC adapter should be much much hotter than the battery ever is. It sounds like your battery is either failing or the controller is in need of a reset, which can be done by draining and fully recharging the battery. If you can't get it to charge with the system on, try it with it off.

Your battery may need to be re-calibrated in that case. As Chastity said, drain it completely, disable the hibernate/shut down on low battery in the power options to make sure you suck that battery dry. After that charge it completely.

It won't harm anything. If you sit at the login screen, you risk even less of a chance of even remotely corrupting something.
