for some reason my brightness keeps adjusting, if I am looking at something lighter it stays bright if I look at something darker the display automatically dims down. This is only happening when I have my computer plugged in to my tv with HDMI

do I have some kind of weird setting turned on? I have gone through all the settings on my tv and nothing is turned on that would make the brightness change, nor does the brightness on my tv change at any point unless I am using my computer

thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!\

EDIT-Also my bios vbios and drivers are all completely updated

My Toshiba LCD TV has a "DynaLight" feature that will dim the LCD in dark scenes and brighten the LCD in brighter scenes. Does your TV have something like that?
