    Hi,

It's not a big deal, but thought it was strange and wanted to post it here. While using my laptop, I got to 0% battery and it was still running without any problems. Is it a windows fail? I think it's the second time it happens this week and the only thing I changed is the bios to fix the missing keystrokes.

happened to me a few times with hp... batteries sometimes still have some juice in them although windows shows 0%... its not good to drain your battery though to 0% anyways.

The calculation is not always accurate, and nobody knows how microsoft actually coded their ACPI implementation, so it could be a windows bug or a problem with your battery or charging circuit. It could also just be a badly calibrated battery gauge. If it continues, try cleaning the contacts on the battery and charger and hope for the best.

You can do a power down on the battery to dead, and then let it charge up. The cycle should reset it.
