I'm not sure if this ever happened to anyone but I set my power options on my lid to do nothing when I close it. So I left it like that for a good good long while and then I opened it up and the screen wouldn't come on. A force shut down got it back running again.
anyway, I need help with my subtitles on my videos. I'm not sure if they were meant to look like it but my subs are looking.... pixelated and a little blurry. I'm using mpc and I used this guide which is working really well (That way you guys will know what my settings are and what I have).
Can anyone help me out?
edit - I'm thinking it might be the file and not me though since I've looked at the latest ep of shippuuden 164 and it looked fine.

Are your subs softsub or hardsub? If it's hardsub, that's just the way it is, it will look blurry on your high res screen, no video player can change that. The only thing you could do with that is to rip the subs and OCR them and then style them as you want. Then remux the video with your new subs, except you'll need to find a raw for the video to mux the new subs with.
If it is a softsub and looking odd, try installing the new Catalyst 10.6, which has some added benefits for video viewing. -
Yea, its hard subbed. Thanks for the info ziddy
+rep edit - hmmm, I can't give u any rep points. Guess Its because I've already done it before.... -
Per viscious's review and a few other posts I looked at it is not a good idea to leave the machine running with the lid closed (could interfer with cooling, or cause screen damage due to heat).
