I had issues with the lappy that I have worked out, but there is one problem that has never changed. The trackpad...., I didn't know if anybody else has come across this and if yes or no, if had any ideas to fix this. I can use it fine, but once in awhile its stuck in one spot and if i try to move the pointer it stays in the same spot and acts like I am trying to zoom in or out, or even goes back to the last internet page. This usually lasts about a minute, but I find this rather annoying. Any new drivers?, If this is an issue where to RMA, Id rather not go through the hassle, I use a mouse alot with the lappy but still this shouldnt be happening. Any ideas? Thanks

Firstly update your drivers wipe and reinstall and maybe think about tweaking the settings in synaptics by turning off zoom and pinch etc if you do not use these.

Your symptoms sound very similiar to the JH touchpad issue acting irratically and get stuck and then zooming for no reason and it can be mighty annoying. If you are not happy to go inside yourself sadly your only option may be an RMA to have it working as it should, consider this a final option however if you use a desk go for a mouse.
