    g73sw brand new out of the box slow fps

    Hi all,

    I have a brand new g73sw and all i have done is installed sp1 of windows 7 64bit and steam.

    Playing games anything above low reduces fps to way below playable.

    Have installed latest 460m nvidia graphics drivers still no joy?

    Checked bios is 2.50.

    Any ideas or just send it back?

    Its suppose to be a cutting edge laptop and i've paid £1599 for it :S.

    Make sure you have the system plugged in and a set a high performance powerplan.

    Agreed. Most people who complain about the performance drop don't realize that the notebook cards aren't equivalent with the desktop cards, even if they have the exact same numbers in the name ...
