So I have talked about the problem im facing before, games(mostly l4d2 and tf2) would freezes for 0.1 , 1 or even 3 second and then work fine again, same goes with mw2 and other games. I have updated driviers and everything but nothing works so I decided to run another prime95 test on my gears, after 16 hours of running on stock clock it shows no error (and yes I have the rounding error stuff on).

so is it reasonable for me to eliminate the possibility of cpu error? I mean for the error I am getting if it is cpu related shouldn't the error be seen in prime95?

PS(my computer rebooted after i uninstall a program so i didn't get to stop the worker and read result, but before it restart both workers are working and still passing test, (and i didn't notice any warnings/error when i checked the logs), does that mean i pass?

    thanks

Yes if there is a cpu error it would have shown up.
Is the freezing happening right when you start the game?

no when im playing the game, like everyonce in a while there would be a 3 second lag and then everything works fine again, im sure is not the graphics too high problem since it wasn't like that when i first bought this laptop(g51vx rx05)

and just wanna make sure, so even tho I didn't get to read the result, if the worker didn't stop i should be fine rite?

my G73sw did freeze like that but I don't think it was 3 sec.. it felt something little like 1sec so I thought it was just regular game loading.. I don't o/c though.

actually i have that too, the 3 second thing happens mostly in l4d other then that mw2 and other games have 1 sec - 0.1 second problem as well :(

mmm, maybe you have to turn off some stuff in the tray icon.. sounds like some programs has pop up notice (at the right bottom corner) and the computer just alt-tab to it. I know it did that to me with the flash and asus update tray icons..
