My g751jy should be here tomorrow and the more I read the more I worry seems to be lots of issues with these early models, so what software do I need to download/install to check to see if my stuff is working right? I'm a big noon to this, only really used consoles!

edit: also I keep seeing Ppl say update your bios and drivers for everything, how do I know what ones I need to update and how do I do it?

Download your all time favorite hardware crushing game. Try it for hours on end using a wireless connection. How does it look on screen? Does framerate stutter? Does the laptop get hot? That is where I started.

Real usage is the best test, you can use furmark/prime95 combo if you want to be really harsh to it. This will load the system beyond anything else though just to warn you.
