    You might have to take the keyboard off, and basically act like your going to repaste lol . Might as well get yourself some tim and repaste your gpu if your gonna fix the dent... kill 2 bird's with one stone :D

    ahh im not sure though bcuz will that void my warranty? i bought a 3 year bestbuy warranty with thi laptop..

    Only if you damage the laptop in the process. And even in the case that you put it back together and it doesn't turn on...you could probably get an RMA if you say you don't know what happened and you never had anything to do with it.

    Just to give you a little peace of mind, the chance of you seriously damaging it is really low if you do it carefully, and follow a good guide, like the BTOtech video on Youtube.

    How would opening your laptop void your warranty?

    I can understand if you open her up and break something during the process, like cracking the mother board or spilling soda while your sitting next to her.

    be extra careful follow the process of the bto video and don't break anything wear rubber gloves! and read read read lol.

    Yeah just removing the top chasis should not void your warranty, don't really see how that would be possible.
