    heating my laptop

    Hi,
    I have a laptop which getting heated up within very short time. Cooling fan is running but it grows heated up shortly after turn on the computer. For this condition what can I do for my laptop. Here is my laptop configuration-

    Asus G73JH, Intel Core i7-720QM processor, 17.3" screen

    For starters, try cleaning out the fan areas with some compressed air.

    One question by the way , wich is for laptop in general :

    When you clean your laptop with compressed air , do you have to block the fan with something , or just let em spin ?

    Naturally your laptop will begin to heat up with use. The problems arise when it gets too hot. What are your temps?

    But definitely clean out your vents. It can make a world of difference.
