    not sure whether my laptop is a defective one or not.
    just receive it today
    run it. Hear the sound of the fan on the side. Especially the left one
    it is small sound but very annoying.

    i just want to verify whether mine is a defective one or not
    if so, i have to return it back to amazon

    Damn, i spent money to get it overnight. And now i have to return it back

    I would definitly say it is, this laptop is dead silent, you can barely hear anything until full load

    For what its worth, my JH runs dead quiet too in a entirely silent room.

    You shouldn't be hearing any knocking sounds imo.
