    just got my asus G73 back from RMA

    7 days with me sending it 2 day air...

    They changed out the screen, and the screen is much better, even the view angles...

    I do have to say that the laptop was dirty, and I mean dirty! the outside and inside had dust and and the screen had a lot of finger prints, and it just looked bad...

    after cleaning I'm over all happy. The screen had a stuck pixel but looks like it's playing nice again so I'm happy.

    Did you look at the screws? Sometimes they ship it back with missing screws.

    yes everything seems in order, I still cant get passed how dirty it was! lol but the quality of the screen is much better.

    The guys there dont really care. What on their mind is punch in and out. They should have atleast a QC inspector before they ship the laptop back to the owners. Well atleast you are happy and got what you wanted except for the dirt that came with it. :)

    Asus workers are pure filth so no doubt it was dirty :biggrin:

    I hope i have the same experience as you lol. I just dropped off my g51 today for a screen and audio jack replacement. Here's hoping they don't give me the wrong resolution screen.

    The quality of the screen is MUCH better, I love it! I also love the lower res, as I dont like everything so small..

    900p is stock on a BB G73JH, any G73JH other than the best buy version will have a 1080p hannstar LCD stock.

    He does have the BB according to the other thread regarding his screen problem I think he has the same model as me.

    I agree I quite like having the 1600x900 screen it works well for me when gaming and I use my external screen for 1080p

    You caught me there ;), i'm pretty sure the -A1 -A2 and -X1 models all have the hannstar though.

    EDIT: The BB models initially came with either a very good LG LCD or a bad AUO LCD.
