    keyboard on asus g53sw

    i have one question to... so i am from slovenia and i bought asus g53sw whit illuminated keyboard... so i would like to know if there is any possibility of becklighting this characters/letters --> šđčćž

    i am sorry for my bad english :eek:

    Yes it's possible. i have got the G53SX and just few days ago i have customised the colour of my keyboard.

    yes of course you can change the colour of those keys. I have customised my keys with red and blue. what you need to do is just take the keyboard out and you will see two small screws at the back of the keyboard. take those out and carefully remove the back aluminum foil then you can put transparent cellophane (whatever colour you want)
    behind the key you want to change the colour to. if you need more help just let me know.

    PS: I HAVE USED PLASTIC TRANSPARENT FILE TO CUSTOMISE THE COLOUR OF MY KEYBOARD.

    you dont get it...look...i have changed the keyboard language from english to slovenian...but becklighted characters/letters are sill from english keyboard... do you know what i mean???

    I'm guessing those characters aren't "printed" on the key the same way which means you won't be able to get the backlight for them unless you were to physically mod the keyboard.

    do u think that this characters are cover from beck side with some paper or something like that ....and that i could take it of/down??

    You could always check, but i'd say the label is opaque like on standard keyboard. Those keys and the scissors mechanism are a bit fragile so if you wanna remove one to check, better be careful.
