    lag issue with Momentus XT?

    Hi, got my G53sw few months back but until now i'm still having issue with the lag/freeze every few minutes when playing games..some said could be due to momentus xt drive or network card..any advice?

    My spec:
    2x Momentus XT 500GB
    Atheros wifi card

    Thanks for the info...Actually i have updated to firmware 28 from seagate website but issue persists.

    CPU temp: 50-70'
    GPU temp: <~80'

    I assume my temp is within acceptable range and i tried throttlestop but somehow when i launched the program the 'BD PROCHOT' is already unchecked..sadly i still getting intermittent lag while in game w/ throttlestop.

    What doe DPC Latency Checker indicate?

    Have you upgraded your Atheros driver to version 9.2.1.432 or later? The earlier version that ships with ASUS laptops is notorious for high DPC Latency. Other drivers could also contribute to latency on your system.
