    so i just bought the Best buy version of the g73 and to my surprise it doesnt come with the bluray player or the most important part for me the 1080p screen!!!!

    so i started looking for the replacement screens for the laptop and i found this website

    ASUS G73JH replacement Laptop LCD Screen. Brand-new screens (never used).

    thats the cheapest i can find it. i just wanted to know if the screen is compatible with this laptop and if you guys know of any other website that has the bluray drive for sale??

    btw any other upgrades you guys think i should do??

    i already ordered the internal bluetooth chip posted on someones sig brilliant idea!

    How did you not know it didn't come with a 1080p screen and a BD drive? :3
    I didn't have the best luck with LaptopScreen (Vancouver Laptop) because both screens that I've gotten from them have had some kind of defect.
    I finally got it in writing that they'll ship me a new one that's been tested once they get this one back.

    haha i was in the market for a new laptop and i found this one online so i was looking at the specs online ect so when i went to bb i figured it would be the same exact laptop so i didnt bother looking at the spec sheet there and just bought it lol...

    na im fine with it.. i could care less for the 8gb of ram 6 is more than enough and the screen is only 140 bucks

    cant beat it for the price
