    Front led status indicators

    light bulb - power on/suspend?
    battery
    cylinder - ?? keeps blinking
    last one is the wireless.

    whats the cylinder one???

    Yes, it is a hard drive activity light. It flickers every time the hard drive is read or written to. If it's on solid, there's whole lotta readin' and writin' going on. If it's just flickering, something is accessing the hard drive but it's not a big continuous read.
