How high do you have the mic gain turned up? And go through the setup for the mic and see if that is set right. You might have it un muted on the play side of the mic set. It should be muted.
You might give it a look and see as this will cause what you are hearing.
Well one of the things that will cause this.

you probably do NOT want to close the lid while the machine is running. Fresh, cool air is pulled in through the keyboard - I'd say nearly 90% of it - so closing the lid while running the machine is the fastest way to overheat your machine.

The laptops are set to go into sleep mode or Stand by when the lid is closed.
So there will not be an overheating issue when it is done.

That is in less someone has tweaked the settings to keep it running.

Sorry, but I doubt this is true. Underneath the keyboard is a solid metal alluminium plate with no holes for air circulation much less air pulling.

Air is actually sucked in through little holes just above your speakers, and the fans circulate the that cooler air through the heating sink pipe and exhaust the warmer air out the back.

Ah yes, Rather than being done in the EXACT manner which was described, it is done in a very, very similar manner which will cause the same consequence as if the original comment was 100% correct. Bravo, sir. You've successfully refuted a vital piece of world history, and did not mention that although your core information is more correct, the previous conclusion still stands!
