This I am sure is a stupid question. I had looked at monitors forever because I don't know much, about the video differences. I am not savvy about that. but finally got an asus monitor , the vs247h, to extend my desktop on for work stuff. Now when I play anything with audio or anything, there is no sound..... I use an hdmi cable, so I am assuming its sending video and audio through to the monitor? Can I somehow stop the audio from doing this and listen to the audio on my asus laptop? I didnt know this was going to happen, I don't want to have to have headphones on constantly. I have a vga cable but I dont want to use that, it would defeat the purpose of the hdmi monitor. I guess I just dont know computers anymore I didn't expect this problem. Am I screwed or can I curb the audio back to my laptop speakers? thanks in advance
