    hi!

It's been now 2 years I've bought my G73JH-X1 laptop and was pretty satisfied with it after upgrading with the latest bios/vbios/drivers and used a SSD drive.
I mostly use my laptop with the AC adapter but last night I figured out that my laptop does not longer work in battery mode!
Nothing happens if i try to turn on the laptop in battery mode.
It's weird because the battery led (laptop front desk) is green and the battery icon (in win 7) shows "fully charged (100%)".
The AC adapter led is green too.
    Thanks for your help.

Remove the battery, unplug it. Wait for a good 30 secs, put the battery back in and try again.

Do you know someone with a G73 or G53, if you do, you could try it with their battery. If theirs works, you know your battery is most likely toast.

    unfortunately no.
i would understand that the defect certainly concerns the battery if one of the indicators were red/orange.
Again, the battery led (laptop front desk) is green and the battery icon (in win 7) shows "fully charged (100%)"...

Long shot here: try cleaning the contacts on the battery and the laptop, also have you run any utilities to see battery wear such as HWiNFO64 Download ?

    thx Josea for your answer.
    I've attached the corresponding screenshot.
wear level is 12% (?) but current capacity is 100%...
maybe the current voltage is too low? 11.723 V.
cleaning the contacts did not help neither...
