    I have broken my latch for my keyboard ribbon i am trying to find this part if anyone has s broke mb or maybe a site where i could find this piece i truly appreciate it. [​IMG] the black latch snapped off

    you can still put the cable without it but make it stuck somehow so it wont move
    maybe use toothpicks

    If one of the pins on the latch is still intact, you could try pushing it in, it won't lock, but there might be enough pressure to keep it there.

    Lol I had the latch it broke a while back, while upgrading my gpu I forgot the little sucker was broke and it poped off. While I stepped out for a while my gf swept the kitchen lost it forever. I'll try the tooth pick method.
