This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I got my new laptop the other day

    what are some of the things i should check/test so that nothing is wrong? i want to be sure its 100% the way it should be because i can return it within 14 days. if someone could make a list of things to do to check everythin it would be nice thank you.

    Heh, I just remembered I am an Admin for the forum at 3DSoundSurge.com (3dss.com) It's a somewhat dated site now, but the forum works, and I am an admin there. I did some quick work transposing one post there and stickied it.

    If this is interesting to everybody here, I can start grabbing the good stuff and transposing there.
